I am Ryan McAteer, founder of RS McAteer Bookkeeping, LLC. After getting my Accounting Degree, I spent 10+ years working for accounting firms doing bookkeeping, producing monthly financial statements, payroll, sales tax, property taxes, individual and business tax returns…you name it! I learned a great deal about accounting, worked with clients from various industries, but most of all, I discovered what I am passionate about: bookkeeping!

Compliance and providing business tax preparers with an accurate financial picture is important, but it is also important that you have an accurate view of the financial health of your business. This helps you make decisions on whether to hire a new employee, purchase new equipment or even increase marketing.
This includes categorizing your bank and credit card transactions, reconciling these accounts monthly, recording journal entries to accurately record payroll from payroll reports, recording monthly depreciation expense and recording the interest and principal on loan accounts. In a nutshell, your balance sheet and profit and loss will be up to date, accurate and provided to you each month on a timely basis. I will work with your tax preparer to ensure they have the information they need to prepare your business tax return at year-end.

Plus, you won’t get lost in the shuffle and become just another number.
